remember that time when I couldn't stop crying and you were watching that Tom Hanks movie and I lay on the floor in the kitchen, afraid to look anyone in the eye, afraid of everything, really.
Blue loved me even in my broken state and tried to make me see the beauty in your slobbery slipper. All I could do is quiver and sob, but there was a part of me, way down deep inside that felt better because of that beautiful boy.
I remember that time.
